Parking Space on an Old Farm in a Secluded Location in Exchange for Handyman Help – Upper Palatinate/Bavaria We are a couple in our late 30s and early 40s, and we live with two small dogs on a former farm in a quiet, secluded location between Nuremberg and Regensburg. The farm is in a completely secluded location; having your own vehicle is recommended. We’re happy to provide bicycles. It’s a wonderful place for hiking and exploring nature; there’s a natural swimming area nearby, and the cities of Regensburg and Nuremberg are only a 40-minute drive away. The farm includes about 6,500 square meters of land, a house, a barn, former stables, and plenty of space that we’d like to gradually restore to use. For the period from March through October 2027, we are looking for adults (children and additional pets are not currently allowed due to construction) who would like to live here for a few weeks—or even longer—and help us with our upcoming projects. Depending on the phase of construction, this may involve, for example, renovation and preparatory work, interior finishing, working with wood, clay, or lime, or tasks on the property or in the garden. Experience with manual labor is a plus but isn’t required for every task. Much more important are honesty about your own abilities and a commitment to keeping your word. We’ll discuss in advance which tasks you’ll take on, the extent of your involvement, and how the energy exchange might work. We offer a free parking spot with electricity and fresh water. For this, you’ll need your own fully self-sufficient RV or a trailer equipped with a kitchen, shower, and toilet. Due to ongoing construction work, a shared bathroom and kitchen aren’t available for regular use. We’re looking for independent, reliable people who have their daily lives and finances under control and treat people, animals, tools, and private spaces with respect. We prefer non-smokers. We also ask that you consume alcohol and other substances in a mindful and moderate manner. Pets are allowed by arrangement. We look forward to sharing pizza nights, music, and good conversations. Equally important to us are peace and quiet, privacy, and the ability to manage your daily life independently. Interested?
