Hello dear people, We recently snapped up an old smallholding and live here as a patchwork family with, at times, 4 children (3 months, 4,7,11). Our dog, 5 Skudde sheep girls, 5 runner ducks and 12 chickens also live here. The farm needs restoration and renovation, and with 1.5 ha of land there's never a dull moment either. The possible tasks are varied. From tidying up, to wallpapering or laying floors, to mowing the lawn or roofing.... There's something to do for every taste. We live here in the Minden-Lübbecke district, just a few kilometres from a natural swimming lake. The region is great for cycling or hiking, sightseeing, paddling on the Weser, or simply staring into space or reading a good book. The house may be in the middle of nowhere, but civilisation incl. shops is only about 4 km away. You'll definitely find peace and quiet here. Since we're still living somewhat improvised ourselves, we can initially "only" offer a pitch for a tent or caravan. We could possibly also provide a tent. We'd have to share the bathroom etc. I could also imagine free meals, but we can discuss the details. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
