Build a stork nest in Burgundy

Description

For three years now, storks have been settling in our area on the Doubs. They circle, land, observe – and every year I wish I could offer them more than just good views. In my large park bordering the river, I would like to put up one or two real stork nests (aeries): either on a de-branched thuja, on a telephone pole, or built from scratch. For this I'm looking for people with experience – ornithologists, stork enthusiasts, hands-on practitioners, idealists. Someone who knows how to build an aerie properly and attach it securely so it will be accepted long-term. In return I offer: – a lovely room for a single person or a couple– board & lodging– time, peace, nature, conversations– and the good feeling of creating something lasting Duration: 1–2 weeks, depending on the project and the weather. If you know your way around this – or know someone who does – please get in touch. And: spreading the word is expressly encouraged. Sometimes it doesn't take much. Just the right place.
