Looking for a room in Eiderstedt or elsewhere in the SANDwatt region; willing to help out in exchange I’d like to live at SANDwatt in North or East Frisia with my husband in the future (though he’s tied to his job elsewhere for several more years); I’m already in contact with tosamen tohuus/Eiderstedt and various platforms... That’s why I’m continuing my search locally and am currently looking specifically for a temporary place to stay in North or East Frisia. I’d be happy to help out with about 40 hours of work per month around the house and garden. I’ll be in Tönning for a workshop on October 29–30 and could stop by in person then.

What I offer

In addition to senior care and house-sitting, I have many years of experience with construction sites, renovating older buildings, and living in shared apartments: All things creative (painting, sewing, stripping paint—I’m also happy to serve as an instructor for children, teens, or beginners) and delicious (cooking, canning, baking...) in and around the house and garden, as well as German as a Second Language (DaZ/DaF) instruction (from primary illiteracy to C2 level, structuring, organization, and lesson planning...) I’m also skilled with wall chasers, sanders, angle grinders, etc., and can mix plaster and paint strippers, among other materials.
