Über mich Herzliche Grüße aus Dortmund! Seit Juli 2025 bin ich im Ruhestand – aber ganz sicher nicht im „Couch-Modus“. Ich fühle mich am wohlsten, wenn ich helfen kann und gebraucht werde, sei es im Haushalt, rund ums Haus oder bei der Betreuung von Tieren. Nach über 40 Berufsjahren als Bibliothekarin und Online-Redakteurin in einem Institut habe ich mir bewusst eine ganz neue Erfahrung gegönnt: Vier Monate Mitarbeit in einem Bed & Breakfast im Burgund. Diese Zeit war für mich eine komplett andere Welt – und genau das hat mich begeistert. Neue Aufgaben, neue Menschen, andere Orte und Lebensweisen empfinde ich als Bereicherung. Ich reise sehr gern, lerne gerne Neues und wachse an ungewohnten Situationen. Zuverlässigkeit, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Einsatzbereitschaft sind für mich selbstverständlich. Haushaltsarbeiten, Dienstleistungen sowie der Umgang mit Tieren – besonders mit Hunden – liegen mir sehr. Nach kurzer Einweisung arbeite ich mich auch in andere Tätigkeiten schnell ein und bin flexibel einsetzbar. Ich freue mich darauf, meine Zeit, Erfahrung und Energie sinnvoll einzubringen und dabei neue Orte (ich liebe die Berge und wandern, bin aber offen für Vieles) und Menschen kennenzulernen.   About me: Warm greetings from Dortmund! I have been retired since July 2025 – but I am certainly not in “couch mode.” I feel most comfortable when I can help and be needed, whether it’s around the house, doing household chores, or looking after animals. After more than 40 years as a librarian and online editor in an institute, I deliberately treated myself to a completely new experience: four months working at a bed and breakfast in Burgundy. This time was a completely different world for me – and that’s exactly what excited me. I find new tasks, new people, different places, and ways of life enriching. I love to travel, learn new things, and grow in unfamiliar situations. Reliability, a sense of responsibility, and commitment are a matter of course for me. I am very good at housework, services, and dealing with animals—especially dogs. After a brief introduction, I quickly familiarize myself with other tasks and am flexible in my work. I look forward to contributing my time, experience, and energy in a meaningful way while getting to know new places (I love the mountains and hiking, but I am open to many things) and people.
