Partially renovated stone house near Malons-et-Elze, private

In secluded nature, 4 years ago I bought an old house with 3 outbuildings. With a river and lots of hiking trails as well as lovely surroundings and contact with people from the region, the area is a little paradise. Over the last 3 years I've made the main house habitable almost on my own, but it's still far from finished. I have a bathroom, a bedroom and a kitchen. My "guests" stay on a floor with OSB flooring and a metal or folding bed, and there's a 2nd toilet (not exactly luxury but hygienic). In a short time, though, a separate space could be created. I'm married and almost 60 years old and until now only lived here in summer, but that's increasing now. My wife comes twice a year for vacation and then I'd like to be alone with her. I mention this so explicitly because I also enjoy female company, or diverse or male, I'm pretty neutral about that. I also like to have a beer now and then and I smoke. There's a lot of work, but not every day is about slaving away. In the listings it always says 4-5 hrs per day. It's different here. When concrete gets mixed, it's used up for as long as it lasts. Other times it's relaxing or taking my (initially) not-so-easy friend "BEN" for a walk to the river. I only learned to cook at an advanced age, or maybe not really. Same with laundry and cleaning. I can't organize, or only myself. I know my way around handiwork well and I don't botch much. YOU should bring manual skills or interest, in return I can teach YOU a lot. I can do function, not pretty – all the better if you have a knack for that. YOU should bring love of nature and good vibes; if you have a problem with spiders, bats or snakes (very rare but it happens), forget it! There's an old Mercedes van here, a 250 cc motorcycle and good internet, but if you want to spend money you have to drive over half an hour. An emergency doctor takes just as long if something happens. All not that bad, but it should be said. I speak German, English and a bit of French, and if you speak French I prefer that.
