Animal-Loving Family Seeks House-Sitter/Pet-Sitter

Hi, we’re Chris (42) and Svenja (38), along with our kids Joris (3) and Sienna (1), and our Chihuahua Simba (17). We absolutely love to travel and are huge animal lovers. We think it’s great that we can combine business with pleasure and look after someone’s house and/or pets here. We’re still looking for a place to pitch in and relax for the period in mid-October/November. Our dog gets along with all animals—other dogs and cats.

What I offer

My husband is a trained chimney sweep with about 20 years of experience. Basic handyman tasks are no problem for him. We volunteer once a week at an animal sanctuary. We have basic experience with horses and aren’t afraid of getting dirty or doing physical work. We’re both experienced with dogs. My husband owned a Romanian street dog for 18 years; the dog was blind toward the end of its life and required medication. I also have experience with cats and various small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, and budgies).
