Hello everyone, We’ll be away for just under four weeks at the end of the year (on a hiking trip to Patagonia) and are looking for someone to lovingly take care of our two cats and stay with us during that time. What we offer: • A beautiful 90-square-meter duplex apartment in the attic, on two levels, with a balcony and two bathrooms • Central location right in downtown Karlsruhe • Right next to the Kronenplatz public transit stop • Within walking distance of the Schlossgarten and the castle—perfect for walks, even over the holidays • Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen • Detailed instructions before we leave (feeding, routines, vet contact information) What we’re looking for: • Experience caring for cats • Reliability—especially over the holidays, it’s important to us that someone stays on-site the entire time • We’d appreciate references or a brief introductory meeting beforehand Our two cats are very affectionate and love being around people. They’re actually very low-maintenance. One is a male cat and the other is a female. The male cat walks on three legs but manages just fine. We’d simply like the cats to be able to stay in their familiar home during this time, rather than having to move to a strange environment.
