My family and I (depending on the situation, either two kids and me, or four kids, my partner, and me) love animals very much, and current financial challenges have led me to look for alternatives to a traditional vacation. Couchsurfing has always been my thing, so I’m bringing everyone else along into this wonderful new world :) We’re the kind of guests I’d let stay at my place (yeah, you do that anyway—you know what I mean 😉) I’m not one for self-praise; I think getting to know each other—preferably over the phone—is definitely more constructive and is, after all, the deciding factor in the selection process. Well, the kids’ ages would be helpful. They’re currently 10, 12, 12, and 14. As for pets, I’d say we’ve got pretty much everything covered, and when it comes to the garden, we can handle a lot too—but our real passion is for the animals. By the way, we have our own, and we’re always able to give them their medication without any biting or scratching—though a little grumbling is allowed 😉 We’re from North Rhine-Westphalia and are tied to the school vacation schedule. Our pets—two cats—are used to both coming along with us (always to the same place so far) and staying home alone with a caregiver. Well, that was more than I expected… There’s one more thing I’d like to offer: I’m a passionate systemic consultant and would love to offer this skill as a service—consulting isn’t just helpful in crises! Couchsurfing has always been my thing, so I’m now introducing everyone else to this wonderful new world :) We’re the kind of guests I’d host myself (well, that’s kind of the idea anyway—you know what I mean 😉). I’m not one for self-praise—I believe a proper introduction, preferably over the phone, is always more constructive and, in the end, the key to finding the right match. Okay, fair enough—knowing the kids’ ages might help: they’re currently 10, 12, 12, and 14. As for pets—I’d say we can handle just about anything, and when it comes to gardening, we’re pretty handy too. But our real passion is for animals.
