Seminarhaus Nordloh - The house with the red telephone box

Seminarhaus Nordloh is a former farm with extensive grounds of approx. 5,000 sqm, which was converted 40 years ago by many helping hands through volunteer work into a holiday farm for children's and youth groups. In the rural surroundings of the Ammerland, adult groups and individual travellers, especially cyclists, also feel at home. And not only during the holidays does our house offer diverse possibilities for other events such as seminars, training courses, school trips etc. The Seminarhaus is run and supported by a small non-profit association. • During the Lower Saxony summer holidays, various groups spend their holiday camps here. For this, we're looking for support mainly in the kitchen and with cleaning the house and grounds. • Furthermore, during the summer we're always looking for people with craft skills for various projects, or people who enjoy gardening so that our grounds stay in good shape. There's always something to repair, maintain or tidy up. • Last but not least, our workshop burned down last year. As a result, there's always clearing-up and rebuilding work to do. Your temporary accommodation is a fully equipped mobile home (approx. 30 sqm) in the garden with 4 sleeping spots. After work, you can cool off in the swimming pool by arrangement, explore the area on the house's bicycles or wind down the evening by the campfire. (By arrangement, you can join the group meals).
